"I got a letter yesterday from PSNC, my natural gas supplier. Based on the decreased usage after installing my dual fuel system, my spread-out-over-12-months plan is going from $96/month to $5/month. I'm sure the monthly figure will go up some after I stop paying in so much, but just taking a look at therms I'm using about 75% less gas per month than last year this time. Isn't that amazing?!? And interestingly the daily temp from last year to this year hasn't varied by more than a degree, so it's not that it's substantially warmer this year..."
